In India, the U.T.P.A has worked hard to lobby Central Government, Municipal Corporations and other key stakeholders. Our pledge is to work globally with Government, the police, other municipal bodies and the private sector globally to encourage joint-thinking on traffic flow and parking services.

The U.T.P.A was one of a select group of stakeholders who had their suggestions towards the Road Transport & Safety Bill 2014 put forward to the authorities, which included our recommendations on implementing a rigorous and effective on-street and off-street parking policy, which prices motorists out of the busiest areas, and ensures they utilize currently abandoned off-street parking facilities.
