In 2014 the United Traffic and Parking Association teamed with Manipal City & Guilds, who became its strategic partner to support its Skills and capacity building initiative. MC&G is a Joint Venture between City & Guilds of London, a global leader in Skills development, with 134 years of leadership across 30 industry sectors and 600 qualifications, and the Manipal Global Educationm India’s leading  education organisation.  

U.T.P.A is working closely with MC&G and their global knowledge / technical partner Parking Control Management (PCM) UK/India to implement both pilot training qualifications for those working in parking enforcement and management and pilot parking schemes aimed at bringing an international standard to the parking sector in India. Parking Control Management India Private Limited was incorporated in 2012. 

Through this exciting new joint initiative its partners hope to both regenerate and regulate parking in India, revolutionising the industry to provide training and employment, stimulate revenue, encourage investment, improve carbon footprints and, most importantly, ensure the best possible service and access for motorists, residents and businesses alike.
